JayPee's Meissen Collection

MY MEISSEN COLLECTION

I've been collecting Meissen porcelain since the mid-80s and it gives me great joy to view them and show them to my friends. I got started when I saw my friend Kenny's collection so I started going to the flea market on 6th Avenue and 26th street in Manhattan and to the smaller ones nearby. Surprisingly I found something every Sunday for several years and when the pieces became rarer to find there, I went to auctions and antiques shows all over the east coast.

I went to the annual antique shows in Baltimore, Miami Beach, Atlantic City, and New York City.I also tried smaller shows like the one at Somerset and Morristown, NJ. Of course I also eventually went to Doyle's, Christie's, Sotheby's, and Tepper's. I also found quite a few treasures at the Manhattan Arts and Antiques Center. Nowadays, I buy and sell on Ebay.

Here are a few from my collection. Feast your eyes and enjoy!
